The sun has dared to show its face so that can mean only one thing.......triathlon! 

In September 2021 I completed my first triathlon as part of the Ark Franklin group of the Kensal/Queens Park tri team. As a collective we were able to raise £15,000 which was put towards air purifiers for every classroom. 

On 28th May 2022 we have decided to venture back into the water, don our lycra on the bikes and cry whilst running over the finish line once more. 

The cause this year is to raise money to upgrade the playground facilities. All school climbing frames are coming to the end of their shelf lives and will need changing in the near future. This is a great project to donate to with the added bonus of being able to see the results of your donation once the climbing frames have been put in place. The children thoroughly enjoy the current climbing frames and will be very excited by the new ones chosen. 

Any donations large or small will be welcomed and muchly apprecieted. Your support will make a huge contribution to not only our children but also our local community. 

Better yet, why not sign up? There are different challenges on the day including the sprint and the super sprint as well as the relay. On the day there will also be a children's duathlon for any aspiring olympians you may have with you. 

And if triathlon is not your thing, we really appreciated the support shown from all the families that came to cheer us on and would love to see as many of you there as possible!
