Story

I'm taking on the iconic London Marathon to help raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity. Birmingham Childrens Hospital Charity believe theres always more they can do for our children and thats why they will always strive to do more for their patients and families. The charity's mission is to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use the hospitals services, offering them the best experience possible. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of people like you, they can help raise vital funds to enable the charity to do more and more every year to take them closer to achieving their vision to provide the best possible facilities and environment at Birmingham Childrens Hospital, for their exceptional patients and young people. I have seen first hand the excellent care they have shown to both my son and daughter in recent years and the level of professionalism always shown to the children. I know many colleagues at work and students  families at Aston Manor Academy will also agree. I look forward to my journey and thank you for donating.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
