Story
I am taking part in Brain Tumour Support's virtual journey across the UK - Miles for Support - because the charity means a lot to me. Please help me to support this amazing charity and the work it does. The charity supports brain tumour patients and families across the UK. It is there for anyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis and makes an enormous difference to these people's lives.
I have had a Brain Tumour since 2001. When I was first diagnosed it was with the help of Brain Tumour Support that I was able to get through some very difficult and uncertain times. The support that they give is invaluable. Since that time I have always wanted to do a fundraising event to raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity.
My son Jonah is an avid Mountain Biker and likes looking at all the cycling challenges that are around the country and the world.
One that he mentions a lot is Lands End to John o'Groats.(and back). So I have set myself the challenge to ride this incredible mileage virtually due to current restrictions(Covid 19)
It would be fantastic if you could join me on this journey and help with a donation and raise as much awareness as you can.
Thank you and see you on the other side. Dan
