Story

A few months back I entered an Ironman 70.3, which is a long distance triathlon event. The distances consist of a 1.2 mile (1.9km) swim, a 56 mile (90km) bike, followed by a 13.1 mile (21.1km) half-marathon run.

With the recent passing of Emilia Gray's Grandad - who was one of the nicest men I've ever met - I have decided to raise some money for a fantastic charity, Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, in the process. They support those affected by, and raise awareness of, the lung condition, all while funding research to find a cure.

About the Charity: Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
