Event: Sleep Out for Sanctuary Trust, on 23 November 2019
Come and join us for a Sleep Out for Sanctuary Trust at Pier Road Car Park on Saturday 23rd November. This won't be the most comfortable night you've ever spent, but we promise it will be one of the most meaningful.

Story

By sleeping out with friends, family or colleagues for just one night, you can show your support for homeless men in Jersey. We would like all participants to fund-raise for our cause to help fund the projects and services needed to help these vulnerable men get their lives back on track. This wont be the most comfortable night you've ever spent, but we promise it will be one of the most meaningful.

Homelessness is an important issue for me, having almost being made homeless myself back 2013, I was lucky enough to have money in the bank a good job, and friends/family who offered to help me.

Peoples life's can change in an instant, due to no fault of there own, however were all entitled to make the one off mistake in life, that can put us in the same situation as the men this charity supports.

I would also like to do this in memory of  my dad, who died in 2009, and would be 69 year old on 23rd of Nov (The night of the sleep out)

My dad would often invite people in to his house over Christmas who had nowhere to go, giving them a Christmas dinner and a bed for the night. I hope this will make him proud.

Thank You.
