London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

Team CCLG is taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2021 to raise vital funds for childhood cancer.

Story

Fred Bennett lived his life at pace. He loved his skateboard, his scooter, and like me, his BMX. We shared a suspicion of matching socks and I think he's the only person who loved Superted quite as much as I did.

Fred died on May 3rd 2020 from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia shortly after his 14th birthday.

He has inspired many people to do many things since then. This is my thing. Inspired by Fred, for the children and families who face this shitty disease.

I'll be running the London marathon in odd socks, raising money for CCLG. And if we smash £2500 I'll do it as Superted.
