On the 19th September 2010 I will be taking a visit up north, slipping into my running shoes and will join the thousand competing in this years Bupa Great North Run.

I will be running for the Alzheimer's Society and will be fundraising to help support this great charity.

The Alzheimer's Society are the leading charity supporting people with dementia and those who care for them. One in three people over 65 will die with dementia but the work the Alzheimer's Society does helps people suffering from this condition and provides vital research into the cause, care, cure and prevention of dementia.

After seeing this illness affect my grandfather over the past few years I will be putting my all into making it round the course in the quickest time my legs, lungs and heart will allow! If you could help be giving a small donation to my fundraising efforts. Sounds cheesy but every little really does help and I will massively appreciate it.
