The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

My teenage son was diagnosed as having Autism during the pandemic. As we learn more about Autism we have realised the need for more support, awareness, funding and research into neurodiversity. This is a lifelong journey.

We discussed it and he encouraged me to run the London Marathon this year and try and raise funds. For an overweight 48 year old it's going to be a challenge!

I will write regular updates here as the training continues. I have started and it's hard!
