Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to run the Brighton Marathon with my Brother Rob to raise funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. Our Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2 years ago and his prognosis was that he would survive for 2 years if he was very lucky. 

He recieved treatment to prolong his time which worked. It is a fight which he unfortunately cannot win and it will eventually take him from us. I believe his strength of character and determination were the main factors of why have had this extra time together. It is this strength which has inspired me to get of my backside and push myself to complete this challenge and raise funds for research into this disease which, despite a very low survival rate, attracts very little funding. Those who know my running ability will realise that I would struggle to run a bath let alone 26.2 miles with only 16 weeks to prepare. I am sure with your support I can manage it !
