In 2013 our world was turned upside down when at 37  I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. Prognosis was poor so I was invited to join a clinical trial resulting in 5 months of chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant. The expectation was the cancer would return within 2 years. However, 2023 marks 10 years of being in full remission and cancer free. 

Running the London Marathon to support the hospital that saved my life and continues to treat thousands of cancer patients each year is a huge honour if not a little terrifying!
