Story
In July 2005 my dad sadly died from Pancreatic Cancer he had bravely fought this awful silent killer for over 14 months, after a massive operation to remove his pancreas and chemotherapy the disease returned to his liver. He never gave up or moaned and he considered himself lucky, in fact he often said that their were people far worse off than him, and weeks after the operation was back at work and enjoying the things he loved.
More than half of people diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer die within 3 months, survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer Uk fund research, support people affected by pancreatic cancer and campaign for change.
So in his memory and others that have lost their lives to this disease Im taking on the Ride London-Essex 100 cycle ride on May 28th 2023.
Help me to help over 10,000 people who are diagnosed annually to raise funds for vital research, support and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.
Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
