Update to my story: So my boxing match was going to be on 28th March 2020. 2 Weeks before the event it was postponed due to COVID-19. 

After 1 year, 4 months, 21 days on 14th May 2020 whilst at his bedside I lost my dad due to this sickening illness.

So now instead of fighting cancer with my dad at ring side, I will have an empty seat and I will be fighting in his memory. I will be pushing myself to my limits to go as far as I can to fight and win for him.

I am starting on this adventure because nearly a year ago my family started the toughest journey that none of ever wanted to have to face.

My dad the head of the family was given a sudden diagnosis of Lung, Liver and Bowel cancer. Told he would need immediate surgery to be given a chance to see Christmas 2018. 

11 Months later he is still fighting and is not ready to give up just showing he is and will always be the strongest person I will know.

So for him I am going to do my best to be as strong as him and push my limits doing something completely out of my comfort zone and hopefully raise some money to keep him with us all for many more years.
