The L'Etape du Tour is one of the most famous cycling experiences.  And I'm committed to completing it on 10th of July. This year will be the 30th ever L'Etape and promises to be huge. 16,000 cyclist will enter this year. How many will finish? We don't know. But I'm determined to be one of them. 15,000ft of climbing over 3 mountains and 110 miles. Wish me luck! 

Update 11th July:

Well, I didn't quite make it. But I was not alone! I think nearly half the starters were 'retired' by the time cut whereby you have to get on a bus and cannot cycle any further. Next time I will get an earlier start time. I think that did for me. Be even so, it was bloody hard! Possible impossible for me to get up Alpes de Huez.
