Story
On Sunday 29th May 2022 I will be back in the saddle for the RideLondon Essex 100, all in aid of Blood Cancer UK (formerly Bloodwise). After a two year break due to the CoronaVirus pandemic the event is back with a new 100 mile route, starting on Victoria Embankment and ending on Tower Bridge, whilst also taking in the Essex countryside.
With the lack of fundraising events over the last couple of years it’s even more important that we give as much as we can, so I ask you to donate to Blood Cancer UK and support me on my ride.
This will be the third time I’ve rode in the RideLondon event, albeit with a new route this year. As before I will be riding in memory of my dad, Terry Cook. My first ride in 2018 marked ten years since my dad passed away to Leukaemia.
Blood Cancer UK
We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
