Story
I'm running to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity close to my heart as they supported my sister through her initial diagnosis.
The Nurses, Coordinators and everyone we had the pleasure of meeting are tasked with an unbelievably difficult job but they go out of their way to do it. They support young people through one of the most difficult things anyone could possibly experience and they were some of the few people who were able to put a smile on my sister's face and provide a place for young people like my sister to receive physical , mental and emotional care, for their cancer treatment and beyond.
Last year my sister passed away after her recurring long-lasting battle with cancer. This has spurred me on to run the London Landmark Half Marathon in an effort to raise money and awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust. My sister was never one to shy away from a challenge taking on more than her fair shares so I'm hoping to follow her example and do some good along the way.
I'll be updating my page with my training so stay tuned for intervals, runs, stretches and more!
If you can I'd appreciate any donations, or share it with anyone who you think may be interested.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
