On 23rd November 2010 my partner Paula was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On the 15th December 2010 she underwent surgery to remove the cancer which was successful. Unfortunately because the cancer found it's way into 3 lymph nodes she now receiving chemotherapy which is a journey from hell! After the chemo she will receive radiotherapy, have herceptin for a year and tamoxifen for 5 years to improve her chances of the cancer not coming back. This has been a tough journey for us all but Paula has remained strong and positive and between us we will get through this. The care Paula has received from the surgeon and Breast Care nurse at Blackpool Victoria has been amazing, and they continue to support us throughout. This is my way of saying Thankyou to them for everything they have done and continue to do.
