Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running The Great North Run in Newcastle on 10 September to raise funds and awareness for The Institute of Cancer Research. One of the chemotherapy drugs that I received as part of my treatment was Carboplatin. This drug was developed 50 years ago, as a direct result of research carried out by the IRC. I am so grateful to be running again after what has been an incredibly tough few months.
By donating to my fundraising efforts for the IRC, you will be helping them to find tomorrow's cancer treatments, so more patients will survive cancer. For more information about their work, please visit www.icr.ac uk
