I will be taking part in the Four Course Classic Marathon with James, Giles and Guy on Friday 24th June raising money for Muscular Dystrophy, an event that is backed by Darren Clarke and Sam Torrance.

When i signed up for this event a couple of months ago i was not too phased by the thought of spending the day playing golf with 3 mates. Over the recent weeks it has gradually struck me that i have never played more than 2 rounds of golf in a day before and indeed am normally exhausted after 1 round of hacking my way in and out of rough, bunkers and various other hazards!

In total we will be on the golf course for upto 16 hours, covering a mininum of 15 miles if every shot is perfect so more likely closer to 20 miles of Surrey on foot. The 1st ball will be struck at 4am on Friday morning, a time which up until recently i was more familiar with arriving home with a KFC.

The cause is a very worthy one and we will be very grateful for all your donations.
