Story
On 11th June 2019 I will be joining colleagues from across the Waste Industry to participate in the Waste on Wheels 2019 charity cycle ride.
This year we will be cycling a 180 mile route over 3 days. Starting in Reading, we will cycle over to Swindon and then head across to Weston-super-Mare before heading down to Bridgwater Bay and back up to Weston-super-Mare to finish.
The event has also been timed to coincide with this year’s National Refuse Championships being held in Weston-super-Mare – with the event officially being opened by the cyclists crossing the finish line!
All of us participating in the Waste on Wheels event and the National Refuse Championships are raising money to support Alzheimer’s Society, and the amazing work the are doing to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported, accepted, and able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Please help me and the rest of the team raise some money for this fantastic cause by sponsoring us to take on this challenge.
