Story
26.2 miles. One day. 33,000 people. and me.
It all seemed so easy over a few too many beers at Chester in May 2007. The training reality is somewhat different. At least all the miles in the park mean I can regularly eat curries and chinese and not have to worry about putting on any weight: I’m told Paula Radcliffe uses a similar dietary regime as she prepares for the Bejing Olympic Marathon.
So please, I’d be most grateful if you can sponsor me to raise money for Racing Welfare which is a terrific charity.
Be generous: remember that for every pound you give, Racing Welfare can claim an extra 28p from the taxman - just tick the 'Gift Aid' box when you donate.
