Those of you who know me, know I like to (typically) keep things fun. The world, especially the last two years, has been a heavy, heavy place. Bringing some levity to any situation is what I am usually all about. 

So, this situation is no different. :) 

Yes, what we do here at the YMCA is serious. We attempt to give kids in our community a positive role model through the youth development programs we offer. We attempt to also give them the opportunity to be kids: To laugh. To make friends. To learn. To grow. To have fun.

Every single day the staff does its best to make sure every child has a positive experience. Ironically enough, while this sounds heavy, it's through playful activities that we can create these memorable moments. It's that use of enjoyment that creates change on a deeper level.
