Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last December my brother passed away suddenly in Abu Dhabi where he had lived for 33 years. The subsequent two weeks I had out there, despite the kindness and generosity of the local Emerati people, were the toughest I have ever experienced.

Marks' chosen charity was Epilepsy Research UK, following the tragic loss of his niece, Zara Butler in March 2008, aged just 13 months.

In memory of Mark and to try to ensure no family go through what Zara's did, I am running the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon on 6th Oct for Epilepsy Research UK- the only UK charity that funds clinical research into this condition.

Please donate whatever you can and help me reach the challenging target I have set.

Many, many thanks.

Damian
