I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease (PD) in 2008. PD is a progressive neurological condition. Other famous  people with PD include Michael J Fox and Mohammed Ali. There is currently no cure but there is a lot of research being undertaken in identifying what causes this condition, a cure and treatments to control its progression.

Parkinson's UK (http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/) fund research as well acting as a source of information.

So I'm asking people if they would be kind enough to sponsor me for a £1 (or more if you want but no pressure) to do a zip wire event at Goodison Park (http://www.zipslideuk.co.uk/events/everton-fc/41).

I understand that the zip launches from the top balcony of the main stand, travels across the pitch for 300ft to finish in the paddock in front of the Lower Bullens Stand. If I remember last time I watched City win at Goodison that's the big, high sand!
