Story

We are taking part in the Big Walk for Water with CAFOD on Saturday 20th February.  In our case, some families will be walking, albeit at separate times, from our Lady and St Anne's in Caversham to Mapledurham, and back (just over 8 miles/13km), but please feel free to join in with any kind of walk, any kind of distance.  Please sponsor us if you can, or join for our virtual walk, the more the merrier! (Check government guidelines). Right now, some of the world’s poorest and most marginalised people don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets to use or good hygiene to protect themselves in these times of a global pandemic. Without these basics, overcoming poverty is just a dream.  Cafod uses your donations in the best way possible with almost all funds being spent on delivering services. For example, just raising £33  provides a water pump meaning families can wash in clean water, keeping everyone safe from infection.  Please help transform lives by sponsoring us. Go to www.cafod.org.uk/walk for more info.

Thank you
