(Please note that, due to the Covid situation, the Dragon Ride has recently been put back to September 26. The route has also been slightly shortened, which is annoying, but it's still extremely long by any normal standards, with a lot of climbing. Also, Macmillan Cancer Support is still a very good cause.)

I am cycling the "Dragon Devil", a 300km (186 miles) loop over evil Welsh hills. Over the course of the day I will ascend 4,350 metres, or 14,272 feet, roughly half the height of Everest.

This is objectively stupid, but it is for an extremely good cause: Macmillan Cancer Support. Here is their blurb:
