Story

Pendleside Hospice specialise in providing for the special needs of adults with cancer and other life- threatening illnesses.

As my family has a history of having cancer and my Grandma is currently battling cancer, i feel i should do something to help this charity that is close to my heart and means a lot to me.

I am taking part in this Bupa Great North Run to show my support and raise money for the Hospice, as it helps to keep the hospice open so that patients can receive the care they deserve to meet there needs.

Pendleside hospice should be government funded, it saddens me that this is not the case and someone terminally ill could me missing out on the treatment, care and support that they deserve.

Every donation helps, no matter how big or small it is as it will make a difference to someones quality of life. If you can tick gift aid (at no extra cost) this helps the charity to gain that little bit extra.

So could everyone please help me reach my target so not only will i make a difference to someones life, you will too :)
