I'm participating in the 2021 READATHON because I love Tompkins County Public Library and want to raise funds to help buy books, films, and other materials patrons depend on to remain informed, entertained, and educated. 100% of the funding for annual purchases comes from private support, like that raised by our READATHON. Please help me support TCPL by making a gift in honor of my late mother, Doris Eckman Johnson (1920-2019).  She was a lifelong reader and made sure that her kids, grandkids and great grandkids were readers and library patrons. All of the funds raised in my campaign will be directed toward the acquisition of books at TCPL and for each multiple of $50 one book in the collection will bear a bookplate dedicated to her memory.
