COMPLETED IT!
I started cycling around football grounds early in lockdown as a hobby, and it kind of became on obsession.
Almost seven months on, just after what would have been my dad's 82nd birthday at the end of the month, I've completed 202 all grounds (full list at the bottom), almost all football but also every racecourse, Wimbledon and the two main cricket grounds (among others).
It's taken 78 rides and 3,980 miles. 191 football stadiums, 6 racecourses, 5 others.
I'd hoped to be at 202 by the time by dad's birthday came round on October 28, but the weather scuppered getting the final ride in before then.

I have done every ground in the top 11 levels of English football, within a 40-mile cycling radius of my house. And some further down the pyramid too.
Dad was affected by dementia in the final year of his life, which accelerated greatly when he went into hospital in the final few months.
We were lucky that he didn't get to the stage where he didn't recognise us, as many have to suffer with, but he didn't really know where he was or why he was there.
So it seems right that I use this cycling to try and raise some funds for Dementia UK.
