Story
I visited Kenya in 2011 and helped with many projects from building schools to the local football team. When I was in Kenya I met this amazing lady called Cindy that has started this charity up.
whilst in Kenya I visited plenty of slums and was a real eye opener. children with no clothes, education or even family. So even if its just a few pounds, lets help these children to a better life they deserve it.
About start small
'Start Small' is a small charity with a lot of drive and passion, growing slowly to ensure we get things right as we go along.
We believe the true way to make a difference is to educate the youth - they are our future! Through educating children we aim to break the 'poverty cycle' in as many families in Nakuru, Kenya - well, as many as we can in our lifetimes ;-). As well as our sponsorship programmes we also support under the radar projects including two orphanges and a school in the slum.
