Story
As a self-employed father of two, I know first hand just how hard it is, to be able to afford to take my family on a holiday. To be honest some years we haven’t been able to take a break, fortunately we are a happy and healthy family and seem to be able to create our own down time with limited funds without the added cost of needing disabled requirements.
The reason I’m running this tough event and raising money for Revitalise is to give the families the much-needed rest bite that they need and deserve, to go on a nice family holiday where they can have fun, relax and spend some quality time together in a safe environment to suit their child’s disabled needs. Revitalise is a national charity providing short breaks and holidays (respite care) for disabled people and carers. They also offer inspirational opportunities for volunteers through one of the largest, most diverse volunteer programmes in the UK.
The Revitalise mission “is to enable disabled people in the UK to access essential breaks with care and provide inspirational opportunities for volunteers” which I think is a fantastic cause to raise money for. So please dig deep and donate to help me to raise money for such a fantastic cause.
Much love, the bald one xx
