After serving 30 years in the police, earlier this year my dad was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukaemia, a rare cancer only found in about 400 people a year.

 I don't think you can comprehend the devastation cancer causes until it affects you and your family. My dad is my hero and fighting his illness, he's strong and gives me strength to believe he will make a full recovery. The treatment he is currently recieving and will continue to receive for the rest of his life, could not have been discovered without huge charities like cancer research and therefore I urge you to dig deep, and sponsor me and my team for the race for life 2016.
