Another possible delay for Daisy due to more illness!
Conflict, Drought and COVID
Rising conflict in Afghanistan has left thousands of families displaced. 393,000 people have fled from their homes in the past month.
There are over 3.5 million internally displaced people.
CARE is working around the clock to provide emergency assistance and cash to the most vulnerable families so they can get food, water and shelter. Since 1961, weve provided urgent humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan and will continue to protect and save lives with your help.Emergency aid is absolutely necessary to save lives. Every penny will go to CAREs Emergency Response Fund a dedicated fund, restricted solely for emergency response purposes within CARE International.
We are hoping that on 2nd October at 10am Daisy will be walking twice around Jackson’s Fields in rochester! It might take a while as she only learned to walk 2 months ago. She’s been a bit poorly in the last 24 hours, so if it doesn’t happen today, it will happen at some point later in the week. I will take lots of photos when she does it.
Thank you everyone for your support. Xx
