My name is Daisy Jacobsen and my mum Vinca Crofts we have decided to take on the challenge of a life time. We will be trekking in the Sahara desert in order to raise vital funds for an amazing hospice. Doing this trek for the martlets is the least we can do after what they have done for our family. 

Our reason behind choosing this charity is that this amazing hospice cared for a close family member Anna Crofts recently was cared for at this hospice, Anna was suffering from terminal cancer and was taken here to be made as comfortable as possible in her last few weeks. The hospice is informal and homely, a safe place for loved ones to have end of life treatment in a relaxing environment. Family and friends are also offered ongoing support even after the patients are no longer at the hospice. To carry on doing what they are doing for patients and families this hospice needs support.
