Hi My name is Daisy George Hitchcock. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am currently living in Bath for University and there are 3 of us in our house who have chose to run the Bath Half Marathon for all different charities next March, as I have chosen to do it for charity I have to raise around £300, so any donations that are made would be extremely grateful.

I have chosen to run the Bath Half Marathon for Cancer Research in memory of my Nan Linda Hitchcock who sadly passed from Cancer in July 2017 and for my Grandad George Murrell who also sadly passed away from Cancer in April 2012. Cancer Research is an amazing charity which aims to eventually find a cure for the dreadful disease Cancer. My Nan Linda was an incredible lady who knew exactly just what to do if I ever needed cheering up as well as the fact that she was the most amazing cook. Moreover, my Grandad George was my best friend, one of my main reasons why I was named after him was because of the bond that we had together. Every single memory that I have with both of them will stay with me for the rest of my life which is why completing this event next March will make me feel so proud of myself as well as hopefully making them proud of me.
