Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Dairatul Amni Islamic Welfare page.
Established in the year 2005 with minimal resources, DAIW has, by the grace of Allah (swt), become one of the leading Islamic Dawah organisation in the U.K. The aim of establishing DAIWI is to convey the pure and pristine message of Islam to masses in Britain and beyond and to try to counter the ever increasing misunderstanding and misconception about Islam.
“Invite (all) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching and reason with them in ways that are best and most gracoius” (Al-Qur’an 16:125)
DAIW's Work
The main activity of DAIW is the printing and distribution of The Meaning of The Glorious Qur'an and a variety of dawah publications, although brief and consice, based on the original sources of Islam, the Qur'an and Sunnah - the recorded sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Alhamdulillah, established since 2005, DAIW hope to print and distribute free copies of The Meaning of The Glorious Qur'an and over 5.5 million copies of the various dawah publications.
The Need for Dawah
In a recent research carried out in Britain it was discovered that 80% of the British public had not come into contact with the Qur'an and 93% had very little or no knowledge at all about the Qur'an. (Source: Perceptions on Islam & Muslims, iERA Research, www.iera.org.uk)
The obligation of Dawah has been made clear in the Qur'an. Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an,
"Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: they are the ones to attain felicity." (Al-Qur’an 3:104)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Convey from me, even (if it is) one verse." (Bukhari)
The Qur'an also tells us that not conveying the message amounts to disobedience to Allah (swt),
"Those who conceal the clear (signs) We have sent down, and the guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book - on them shall be Allah’s curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse." (Al-Qur'an 2:159)
Conveying the message of Islam also means completing our own worship, the primary reason for which we were created. Dawah is one of the most noblest acts any Muslim can do and its rewards are immense. Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an,
"Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah, works righteousness, and says, “I am of those who bow in Islam”?" (Al-Qur'an 41:33)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever guides (another) to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it." (Muslim).
He (peace be upon him) also said, "By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you it would be better for you than the best type of camels." (Bukhari and Muslim)
What DAIW Wants To Do
DAIW would now like to print and distribute a further 100,000 copies of The Meaning of The Glorious Qur'an. It costs £1.00 to print and distribute one copy of The Meaning of the Glorious Qur'an.
To achieve this enormous task solely for the pleasure of Allah and the betterment of humanity we need your kind and generous financial assistance and support.
“Wallah! If we had the means we would have flooded the UK with the Glorious Qur’an and dawah literature.” Insha Allah
May Allah (swt) accept all our humble efforts for the sake of His Deen. Ameen.
