Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As part of our fundraising this year we have decided to raise money for the National Autistic Society.

Founded in 1962, they are the UK’s leading charity for autistic people and their families. Their goal is to help transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people.

This is part of the dare to be different movement. Autism affects approximately 700,000 adults and children in the UK today and we are working to build an inclusive society where everybody is accepted.

As part of this we will be holding a Mad Hair Day on Friday the 26th March 2021.

Children are to be sponsored with suggestions for the wackiest hair and pick one to create on themselves on the Friday. Money is to be collected or transferred at home upon sponsorship and donated on our page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/daiglenmadhairday

Any extra donations will be greatly appreciated. Your support will bring us one step closer to a society that works for autistic people. Now, let’s have some fun!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
