Story
Why am I doing this?
Because I'm stupid. But also fancied a challenge, and what better challenge than to run a ridiculously long distance around London on a cold Sunday morning in April
There is also more to it than this. As some of you may know we lost a great friend and colleague last year. Tracey Parnell. Tracey was my work buddy. She was there for me from day one of my time at Westminster and always supported me in work and life as she did with everyone she met or worked with. She was a lively character who was full of life, enthusiasm and positivity. Unfortunately Tracey lost a long battle with Cancer last year. All the way through her fight she remained positive and still spent more time thinking of others than herself. She was an inspiration to many and I will always have great memories of Tracey. I wanted to do something to remember her by and thought this was a nice way of doing that. Tracey will be with me all of the way (spiritually riding her Brompton bike alongside)
How am I going to get on?
I'm confident of bringing home the win here as the field seems quite weak, heard Mo Farah is knocking on a bit these days so I've got a chance.
