I’m running the Great North Run 2022 on behalf of Marie Curie, a charity which means a lot to me and my family. Both of my grandparents who were huge parts of my life, suffered from cancer and my grandad was cared for at the end of his cancer journey by the amazing services ran by Marie Curie.

Marie curie solely run on donations, so I want to raise money not only to thank them for the incredible work they did for Grandad and continue to do for those at end of life, but also to keep the charity and Rapid Response team of whom my mam is a part of afloat. 1 in 2 people are affected by cancer, and without donations they wouldn’t be able to provide the outstanding service they do so please consider donating.
