Hi All,

I will be taking the plunge and running the Newport Marathon on April the 16th 2023. My motivation and drive behind this, is to raise awareness of Epilepsy for my daughter Connie. Connie was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2021, after multiple seizures resulting in multiple hospital admissions. During this time I had no real idea of how this condition would affect my daughter's life. Since then we have had many obstacles and challenges to over come. Connie  has grown to be a kind, loving and energetic three year old, and as a family we will continue being her biggest support, whilst raising awareness of epilepsy and the significant impact it can have on a child's life.
