Story

Clatterbridge is a unique hospital and one we would want to avoid at all costs! Unfortunately this awful disease now affects 1 in 2 people and the chances of avoiding it are slim, this is the hard reality.

Paul was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2013 and owes his life to the dedicated team of doctors and nurses at Aintree and Clatterbridge hospitals (not to mention the support his wonderful wife 🥰).

Garys journey is a recent one with ongoing treatment.  Clatterbridge has been my security blanket when I have been facing the darkest of days, even as an adult you can feel like a child lost in this big grown up world.

Only once you have shared this journey with a loved one, friend or even colleague do you realise how important it is to have access to specialised care and for us this was Clatterbridge.

Research and treatment's are advancing all the time, this is what counts and we need to support this progress, as I am sure there is not one person who has not felt the ripples of devastation caused by this awful disease!

This is why we want to support and give back to the nurses, staff, consultants and the hospital as a whole to say from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!
