Story

Mum was diagnosed with cancer on 17th October 2021. Exactly 10 weeks later, on 27th December, she died peacefully at the East Lancs Hospice, with myself and Laura Beth holding her hand.

Everyone at the hospice did everything they could to make Mum's final weeks and hours as painless and happy as possible, even with the difficult restrictions enforced upon them.

They put on Christmas activities for my son, George, and made sure he got to spend one last Christmas Day with 'Grandma Monkeys' as he calls her.

The work the hospice do is invaluable to both patients and thier family members in extremely traumatic times. If you can spare even £1, please consider donating to help them supporting other families, just as they did with mine. It really would mean a lot to us, and if you can't, don't worry, just share the link in case someone you know can.

Thank you to everyone who helped Mum and the family over these past few weeks. We love you all.
