Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End, starting on Saturday 2nd June 2012. I will be cycling approximately 900 miles in only 9 days with 10 equally mad cycling enthusiasts!
I want to dedicate my challenge to the memory of Bill Torrance, who would have celebrated his 60th birthday this year, had he not suffered a heart attack and died, aged only 52.
Bill and I had 28 wonderful years together before he died and those of you who were lucky enough to have known him, will remember what an incredible person he was.
Bill was a very active man who enjoyed sports of all kinds, and was always up for a challenge. I can think of no better way to celebrate what would have been his 60th birthday year, than by completing this challenge in his memory.
Those of you who were lucky enough to have known Bill, will remember what an incredible person he was. A kind and loving father, husband and son. He was truly one in a million.
