A few weeks ago my five year old daughter Millie Hinton was diagnosed with diabetes type 1.This has been a major impact on my daughters life .i.e diet,insulin and the dreaded finger blood test. She takes all this in her stride and goes about her daily routine. Diabetes has opened my eyes as to how it effects people of all ages who suffer and to family's and carers around them.

 

The money raised will go towards Diabetes UK in there research towards the involvement in many areas of Diabetes.

 

So myself and my 12 year old daughter Hollie have decided to challenge ourselves to a bike ride from Wolverhampton to Barmouth North wales.

 

The journey is approximately just under 200 miles which will be cycled on the canal water ways.This journey will be cycled throughout the whole of the week.
