Cycling the Dragon for Winnie

Fundraising for Tree of Hope
I am cycling the infamous Dragon ride in Wales, the UK's toughest sportive, 157km and 2,223m of ascent on 23rd June 2024 to raise funds for Winnie.
9-year-old Winnie had to be resuscitated at birth and several times within her first 24 hours. Last year Winnie was diagnosed with a very rare variation of the CDK8 gene.
She is completely blind, unable to walk or talk and unable to hold her head up for more than a few minutes.
However she is bright and intelligent, loves to be read to, to listen to music and being outside.
Funds raised here will help to buy equipment and therapy for Winnie to help her communicate and physiotherapy to gain more strength and movement.
Physio has done her the world of good, she initially couldn’t move half of her body and now she can, as well as wiggling and rolling around.
She loves being outdoors and needs a new off-road wheelchair, and there is hope to get Winnie an auditory scanning device so she can better communicate, but she needs a lot of therapy to be able to get to the point of using it.
Any donation will help Winnie gain a better life, so please be generous and donate!
