Story

Very pleased to announce a revised date for this postponed event.  This will now be held on the 18th June 2023.   All entries will be carried forwards, and thank you loads for your generosity and patience.

Last year 500 cyclists rode together to raise £8,500 for the DEC Ukraine appeal.  It was a fantastic fund raiser and thoroughly enjoyed by all those taking part.  So, we are doing it again.  Same team, same route, same mission.

We would like a minium donation of £10 for each rider, and for the riders name and cycling club to be put in the donation field so we can keep a track of entrants.

The route on the day will be sign posted and a GPS of the route is available. We will set riders off in groups of no more than 20 riders at a time.

Cash points, coffee shops etc are all available on the market Square.

All monies raised will go direct to the DEC Ukraine appeal.  Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing millions to flee. Homes have been destroyed. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost. DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
