Story
CYCLE FOR SOS sets the challenge to Cycle 20km within your 5km radius. The challenge will take place from March 29th to April 11th in collaboration with WLR. Our aim is to raise awareness for mental health and vital funds for Suicide or Survive.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP?
The Mental Health and Suicide Awareness Cycle in aid of Suicide or Survive (SOS), takes place each year in Lemybrien, County Waterford. The fundraiser organised by Liam Brazil, is now in its seventh year and has raised €60,000 since 2015. This year’s cycle was due to take place on Easter Sunday but due the coronavirus restrictions we are setting the virtual challenge once again this year.
Now more than ever during these difficult times people are struggling with their mental health and need the services that Suicide or Survive provide. We need your help to ensure that we still raise these vital funds this year. As we cannot hold the actual event, we are asking you to take on the 20km cycle challenge within 5km from your own home.
