Story
Over seven week-long legs between March and October 2018 I'll be cycling to at least 35 Scottish Natural Heritage offices — from Dumfries near the border, up to Lerwick in Shetland — to meet as many of our 723 staff as possible. The ultimate Active Work Challenge! After more than 1300 miles on the saddle (and nine ferries) I'll cross the finishing line at our Inverness HQ on 12 October 2018.
I'll be joined by colleagues at points along the way and catching up with a range of partners for on-site meetings outside in our amazing Natural Health Service. And of course, trying to raise some money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
SNH's aim is to connect people with nature and I hope to be an exemplar of that during the cycle. You can follow my progress and see what I get up to on Twitter (@francescaSNH) and on our new website www.nature.scot
