Cycle for Dementia
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
Could you power through the miles to help us beat dementia sooner? We're challenging you to take on between 100 and 500 miles in 30 days.

Story

Earlier this year I started indoor cycling on a platform called Zwift. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and have started losing weight and getting fit. I've also noticed an improvement in my mental health. Indoor training has given me something to focus on other than being stuck indoors thanks to Covid! Whilst the exercise plan has been great I needed more of a challenge, hence this challenge. I may well have bitten off more than I can chew but I'm going to give it my all!

The past few months have been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit those affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm getting on my bike and taking on Cycle for Dementia. Please donate to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most.

I am starting this challenge on March 31 and plan to have ridden at least 500 miles at the end of 30 days.
