Story
On Sunday the 6th of May 2018 at 9:30 at Cycology bike shop you may come and send us off to a bike tour to support Frome's Missing Links. Balloons, cakes, ice-cream for supporters.
Our 2 younger sons Tinker (8) and Artur (5) already started their trainings and proudly telling everyone that they are going to do a 75-mile bike ride ;)
Our eldest son Zak (31) is joining us too so it will be an unforgettable family tour.
Our challenge is to ride to Corfe Castle from Frome via the Chain Ferry in Poole on No 24, 25 and 2 National Cycle Routes. This will be our very first long distance, circa 75-mile tour with our family.
So we decided to stop for a night at a campsite in Blandford Forum: http://www.theinsidepark.co.uk Maybe we can meet there for a Hungarian goulash... ;)
You may think why we set up this particular challenge?
After being mountain bike champions: Paul Luttrell 48 (Paul Construction) former Cross Country 2x UK champion and Dalma Luttrell 41 (Dalma Kiss) former DH and 4X many times Hungarian champion we got into family raising and working life. After a while we realised we spend more time with work than fun. Now we want to get back on our iron horses again to enjoy the freedom of cycling. Also we were looking for a cause that will definitely make us going out.
This was the point when one day we wanted to cycle farther then Frome (UK) but we came to the end of the bicycle path in the middle of a field...
Frome's Missing Links is the organisation who is in charge of the hard work of maintaining the existing bicycle paths and raising funds to join the missing links towards Longleat and on the other side towards Radstock.
So let's help them and get those Missing Links joining together. With this cause we all can enjoy more traffic free bike rides in this beautiful nature that surrounds us, giving us a healthier and happier life.
With your determination we all will Cycle Farther and Further :)
