Story
Those of you that tuned into the Pride of Britain awards last month would have seen 2 Wish Upon A Star's CEO & Founder Rhian Mannings-Burke be recognised for her outstanding contribution through the charity. Not only do Cricket Wales see Rhian as one of the 'cricket family' with her son Isaac being part of the regional programme, but the charity has helped to support families within Welsh Cricket in recent times as they deal with their tragedies.
2 Wish Upon a Star provides immediate bereavement support for families, individuals and professionals who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under. When a family loses a child or young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them. It is important that support is available if and when required. It is important families know that they are not alone and that the feelings they are experiencing are often normal.
Cricket Wales are proud to support Rhian and 2 Wish this Christmas and hope that your small contributions go some way to helping them continue the amazing work that they do.
